Shalini is the Founder of Nadhi-SheForClimate, a Mumbai-based women-led social enterprise working at the intersection of climate action and gender inclusion across India. She specialises in building structured pathways for women to enter, advance, and lead in the climate economy through city-based community chapters, career development programs, and cross-sector partnerships. Before founding Nadhi, Shalini served as Chief Operating Officer of the Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank India, where she drove operational excellence and strategic growth. Drawing on her personal experience of navigating the male-dominated climate sector, she launched Nadhi in February 2024 to address the stark underrepresentation of women in climate leadership, decision-making, and opportunity pathways. Since launch, Nadhi has grown to four city chapters, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai with a bold mission to empower 100,000 women as climate leaders by 2030. The platform focuses on moving participants from awareness to action: connecting individuals with mentors, organisations, and real-world opportunities that accelerate both careers and impact. Nadhi was a Community Partner at Mumbai Climate Week 2026. Shalini has been featured in Forbes India as a leading voice on women-led communities in the climate space. She was a panelist at the SDA Bocconi Asia Center Leadership Summit 2026, and a speaker at The Climate Action Young Leaders Summit 2024.
