Trust & Standards
What "Verified on the Dais" actually means.
Every badge on this site is earned, not assumed. Here's exactly what we check before a profile goes live — and what keeps an applicant off the directory.
01
Identity & credentials check
We confirm the applicant is who they say they are, and that the professional credentials, titles, and organisations listed are real and current — cross-checked against LinkedIn and other public professional records.
02
Public speaking & expertise history
We look for a genuine, demonstrable track record in the topics an applicant wants to be found for — prior talks, publications, media appearances, or documented subject-matter work. Expertise claims aren't taken on the applicant's word alone.
03
Public presence check
We verify the applicant has an active, consistent public professional presence (LinkedIn, published work, an organisational bio, press mentions, or similar) that corroborates their profile.
04
Manual human review
Every single application is reviewed by our team before publishing — nothing is auto-approved. If anything looks inconsistent or unverifiable, we follow up with the applicant directly before making a call.
What keeps a profile off the Dais
- Credentials, titles, or affiliations we can't independently corroborate
- No demonstrable public track record in the claimed area of expertise
- No verifiable public professional presence (LinkedIn, published work, press, etc.)
- Incomplete or inconsistent application information that isn't resolved on follow-up
