She specialises in climate communication, community mobilisation, and citizen-led environmental engagement — working at the intersection of urban resilience and public climate literacy. Based in Mumbai, Sanika contributes to the programming and outreach infrastructure of an initiative that brought together global leaders, business giants, youth, and civil society at Jio World Convention Centre in February 2026. MCW is an initiative of Project Mumbai, partnered with the Government of Maharashtra and supported by organisations including IDFC First Bank, Deloitte, WRI India, and UNICEF. Sanika's work sits at the heart of one of India's most significant civic climate moments, translating complex global climate conversations into citizen-level action and ensuring that Mumbai's voice is heard in global sustainability dialogues.
