Radhika is a water researcher, Bharatnatyam dancer, and published author whose work lies at the intersection of environmental studies, water science, and governance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Education (specialisation in Environmental Studies and Dance) from FLAME University, Pune, and an MSc in Water Science, Policy, and Management from the University of Oxford, UK. Currently a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Sustainability, Environment and Climate Change at FLAME University, Radhika’s research focuses on water management, river systems, water rights, and climate justice. She is the co-author of The Heads and Tails of Ganga (with Vijay Paranjpye and Chaitrali Kulkarni), which has been reviewed on India Water Portal. In 2025, she delivered a keynote address as a youth representative at Aqualogues 2025 at Ahmedabad University, alongside Padma Shri Uma Shankar Pandey. A Bharatnatyam practitioner since the age of 12, Radhika also explores the relationship between movement, water, and ecology through her performances and research. She has presented solo recitals and dance productions across India, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. She was awarded a research grant by Parivartan: A Research Initiative for the Performing Arts for her project, ‘Rights of Rivers through the Lens of Bharatnatyam’, which seeks to bridge her interests in water research, ecological thought, and dance.
