Mughda has over 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism. She is also an Autism Activist, Corporate Trainer & Mindfulness Coach. She runs a platform called 'Not The Different', in association with Bookosmia- a leading creative platform for children in India. Not That Different is India's first children-led movement in normalizing conversations around neurodiversity and push for inclusion. She continues to write for various portals and her on-screen assignments have been for both news television and websites. Her forte is storytelling and documentary writing. She is associated with the renowned legal content provider at the Rainmaker and trains on conduct and prevention of sexual harassment - the POSH law She has been a bilingual television journalist for over 15 years and has presented & reported the news on various channels during this time. Mugdha joined Network 18 in the year 2006 and was part of the team that launched IBN7, now News18India. As a senior news anchor at IBN7, she was looking after the Morning Prime time news band and has anchored programs for the features team. She was then involved with the FOCUS team at CNN IBN and looked after all the sponsored programming on the Channel. Primarily, the feature programming she dealt with was connected to the field of education, infrastructure, health and social issues.

She profiled the various regiments of the Indian Army for a show called the Regiment Diaries - that's currently on air on Epic and Netflix in India. Devi : The Feminine Divine is now available as an audio series on Audible. Prime-time breakfast news face for IBN7, NDTV and Aajtak for over 13 years. She has the international experience of working BBC World Service in London.
