Mona is the former President and Group Head of Human Resources at Thomas Cook (India) Limited, where she led strategy, leadership development, employee engagement, and HR functions across the group, retiring from the role in March 2026 after a multi-decade career. Prior to Thomas Cook, she was HR Director and a member of the Advisory Board at ASK Investment Managers, and before that spent sixteen years at Oracle Financial Services Software (i-flex Solutions) leading global HR, employee engagement, and international compensation across India, Europe, and beyond. Her career began as an associate professor at Sophia College and later as a training officer with the Essar Group. Mona is widely recognised as a thought leader on empathetic, strategic HR, regularly featured in HRKatha and as a speaker at NHRD, NASSCOM, and BMA forums on diversity and inclusion. She currently serves as President of the NHRD Network's Mumbai Chapter, and previously served as President of the WoMentoring Chapter of the National HRD Network and on the Executive Committee of the Bombay Management Association, leading its Women in Leadership Committee. Mona sits on the Boards of Capgemini and Haldyn Glass, where she serves as Chairperson of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee at both organisations. Her accolades include the Super Achievers Award (2007), HR Leadership Award (2008), Women Super Achiever Award (2009 and 2016), and Most Influential HR Leader (2017).
